Shipp Case Gets National Attention

The daughter of a missing Kansas City woman is hoping some national exposure will result in new leads. Brandy Shipp appeared on an episode of "The Montel Williams Show" that aired Tuesday. Her mother, Summer Shipp, has been missing since December. She disappeared while doing door-to-door research in Independence. Brandy Shipp says they've distributed about 20-thousand flyers, and pictures of her mother now appear on two billboards, 30 cabs and five buses throughout the area. A 100-thousand-dollar reward is being offered for information leading to Summer Shipp's safe return.
