New Evidence in Shipp Case

Police have some new evidence in the search for a Kansas City woman who has been missing since early December.

Summer Shipp's Chopper Shopper Card, a card that provides users discounts at Price Chopper grocery stores, was mailed to her house.

Police have the card and hope to track how it ended up back at Shipp's house.

Shipp's cousin Traci Guenther said the family is unsure if the card was mailed from a the grocery store or not. She said it was used last on Dec. 5, three days before she was last seen in an Independence neighborhood.

"All leads are hopeful," Guenther said this morning. "We need to find her."
