By RUSS PULLEY

A private investigator is organizing a search Saturday in Independence in the ongoing effort to find Summer Shipp, the Kansas City woman who has been missing since December.

Shipp disappeared in Independence while she was conducting surveys. A $100,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to her safe return.

John Underhill needs 60 to 80 volunteers for the 10 a.m. search and especially would like former firefighters or police officers to help. He asks that anyone interested contact him at (913) 980-3052 for information about where to assemble.
